Description
This smooth, rich and creamy tahini hot chocolate is the perfect indulgence in the cold weather.

- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 cups milk (oat, soy, almond, or regular)
- 5 oz dark chocolate, chopped (divided)
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch kosher salt
- sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Pour the water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
- Whisk in the cocoa powder until no lumps remain and then pour in the milk.
- Whisk in 4 oz of the chopped chocolate, tahini, sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Stir frequently until smooth and heated through, about four to five minutes.
- Melt the remaining chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts until smooth.
- Dip each glass in the melted chocolate and garnish with sesame seeds. Pour in the hot chocolate and drizzle with extra tahini, marshmallows, whipped cream, cocoa powder or anything else. Enjoy!
