Snacks are oftentimes a necessity when you are caught between meals or just need an extra little something to help with hanger. I know how difficult it can be to pack snacks for busy weekdays, so I kept things really simple. And with all the pre-made and packaged snack options out there, it can feel overwhelming and confusing. So I wanted to share some of my favourite easy healthy snacks from brands that I trust and use myself.

Easy Healthy Snacks You Can Make Yourself:
If you are struggling with making your own snacks, have a look at these to help get your creative juices flowing.
Energy Balls: I love making energy balls as part of my meal prep and often times I’ll make these high protein chocolate energy balls. They have some protein powder in them, and the chocolate flavour satisfies my afternoon chocolate cravings.
Flatbreads and Dips: I love these flatbread crisps from Ryvita. They aren’t gluten free, so take note if you need to avoid gluten. They are crispy, have a decent amount of fibre and protein and you can top them with anything.
Smoothies: A go-to for some serious fuel is a smoothie. My simple smoothie tips are to include protein, fat, fibre and greens (or veggies) if you can. This option is great for keeping your blood sugar balanced.
Yogurt with Granola: Simple yet delicious! I usually opt for organic Greek (full fat) yogurt or coconut yogurt. You can check out my homemade coconut yogurt recipe here.
Hard Boiled Eggs: Making hard boiled eggs as part of my meal prep keeps things really easy. This is an easy healthy snack option that packs well and feel free to add some hot sauce on top or any other type of spice you enjoy.
Assorted Snack Box: Sometimes, I just want options. This is where a snack box can come in handy. Opt for veggies, fat, protein and fruit to keep things balanced. I love my lunchbots box as it keeps things separate and seals very well.
Granola: Having some granola on hand is great for when you want a crunchy snack. I find prepping and making my own big batch is easy and affordable. Check out my chocolate hazelnut granola here!
Muffins: Portable snacks at its finest! I like my double chocolate muffins which I make a big batch of and freeze some.
Dates with Nut Butter: One of my go-to snacks are dates stuffed with almond butter (or any nut butter) and a few chocolate chips don’t hurt. My go to almond butter brand is this one and my go-to chocolate chips are these.
The Best Snacks You Can Buy:
And if you want to see what brands I love using, check out these ones to see my faves!
Sproos Collagen Bars: These bars are made with real food ingredients plus collagen. If you want to learn more about collagen, definitely have a look at this post. I love that Sproos is Canadian and these bars are actually really tasty.
You can find them over here on well.ca!
Love Good Fats Keto Snack Bars: These bars are straight up addictive. Nearly every time I am out getting groceries, I pick up a bar. I cannot say no to them. The peanut butter ones are my fave and they now have a plant-based version as well.
Rawcology Coconut Chips: Another great crunchy option for you are these coconut chips. They come in savoury and sweet flavours. My personal favourite has to be the cheeze ones and the chocolate for a sweet option.
Nud Fud Crackers and Mother Raw Dips: The dehydrated crackers from Nud Fud are vegan, raw, gluten free, healthy, made with high quality ingredients and they taste great. I love dipping them in the Mother Raw dips which are also vegan, gluten free and nut free. My favourite is the onion and the spicy queso.
Well that wraps up this post for easy healthy snacks! I hope you are inspired to try something new. Let me know in the comments what are your favourite snacks?
