Why Go Green?
One of the most common questions I get asked is why do you need to go toxin-free when it comes to your personal care products?
I first started making the switch from conventional products five years ago, when I started school for Holistic Nutrition. During my first semester there, I took a class about the environment and after completing a research paper on my own personal care products I was shocked at the ingredients "hiding" in my products. When I learned about the dangers that many of these ingredients pose, I knew I had to make a switch.
Many of the ingredients that are in conventional products are known hormone disruptors, can cause health issues (some are even carcinogenic) and cause skin irritations.
