As a Holistic Nutritionist I know that the products we put on our skin are just as important as the foods we put on our plate. It's why I made the switch to green beauty over five years ago and haven't looked back since. Through a lot of product testing and two years spent working at the green beauty mecca that is, The Detox Market, I learned A LOT. And now it is my absolute pleasure to share with you my top five products in skincare, makeup, hair, body and wellness.
This list represents the best of the best, otherwise known as my ride-or-dies.
As hard as it is for me to pick only five, I've narrowed it down to just that when it comes to skincare. These are the products I buy over and over again and cannot live without.

Hair products were a tough transition to make, but the reward after many attempts is that I finally found the best of the best. These are the products I buy over and over again and cannot live without.
When it comes to putting ingredients on our body, it's important to use high quality ingredients that are safe. These are the products I buy over and over again and cannot live without.
When it comes to wellness products, thes are my favourite supplements, cleaning products and more.
Why Go Green?
One of the most common questions I get asked is why do you need to go toxin-free when it comes to your personal care products?
I first started making the switch from conventional products five years ago, when I started school for Holistic Nutrition. During my first semester there, I took a class about the environment and after completing a research paper on my own personal care products I was shocked at the ingredients "hiding" in my products. When I learned about the dangers that many of these ingredients pose, I knew I had to make a switch.
Many of the ingredients that are in conventional products are known hormone disruptors, can cause health issues (some are even carcinogenic) and cause skin irritations.
